Pretty Contribution pages

The powers that be have decided that they don't like the contribution page (civicrm/contribute/transact).

They want to replace it with a typically over graphical page that has lots of pictures and different donation amounts and frequency options in different areas, referencing the pictures. So, for example, you'd have a gold medal with some text and the option to donate a million dollars a year; a silver medal, some more text and the option to donate $600 a year or $50 a month; and a bronze medal with $120 a year or $10 a month.

Is there a sensible way to do this? I'm hoping I can prepopulate the civicrm/contribute/transact page with the selected value or a way to bypass the page completely and just jump straight to the pre-payment confirmation page.

Anyone managed to do this?

I think using custom  templates is a right solution for your problem.

Another workaround if you don't want to dig into the custom templates is to include HTML code in your "Contribution Amounts" label fields. You can divide the levels with hr and br tags, add color - I haven't tried to insert images, but it might be worth a try.

Hi Joe - you got an example of what you are describing that can be viewed? or even just a screengrab you could post?

...it's not pretty, just a basic addition of several font colors, br and hr tags added to the label content

Simple but I can see the HR being helpful. Never thought of that route. Many thanks.
