Author Topic: No Credit Card Processing for New Contribution from Contact?? A change? (Read 1702 times)

I just upgraded to 2.1 and i seem to recall last week being able to run a credit card transaction via a New Contribution from the Contact page. Now when i enter a New Contribution and select Credit Card from the drop down, it doesn't take me through payment processing.

What am i missing?

You should see 2 buttons - "Record Contribution" and "Submit Credit / Debit Card Contribution" on the Contributions tab for a contact - as here:

If you're not seeing the 2nd button, the likely reason is that you don't have any active payment processors configured (Global Settings >> Payment Processors).

Thanks Dave,

I do have one active payment processor (PayPal).
the attached screenshots briefly show our situation.
Still only have the one option on a contact.

PayPal Standard by its nature doesn't support/expects credit card details from merchant's site (though if user wants to, can submit on paypal site).
So you need setup one which supports providing credit card details on merchant site like PayPal Pro.

To confirm you could setup a test account & check if the link appears.
