I've been in the habit of adding an id value equal to the field name in the <td> or <tr> tag on profile templates. So basically, the table created with a long list of profile fields has a unique identifier for each row, based on the field in that row.

This is really useful for controlling layout through css. For example, when I have a long list of profile fields, I like to break them up into sections -- especially if I have multiple sets of addresses. I've attached a screenshot as an example.

I think this would be useful and easy to add to the templates out of the box.
