Mailing Label format is not correct
April 25, 2007, 11:48:03 am
I did not test this with every label format but, using either the 516o or 5161 format, if I select a group for which I want to generate mailing labels, the format of the labels is messed up.

Selecting Primary for the Location, this is (exactly) what I see:

            Name

            Address

            City

            Zip code

            State

            Country

Selecting Home for the address type, this is (exactly) what I see:

            Name

            Address

            City

            State

            Zip Code

            Country

Is there any way to get City, State and Zip on the same line? Is there any way to exclude Country?  We are on CiviCRM 1.5 hosted by CSOD.

Thanks,
Cynthia

I'm not real familiar with how CSOD is setup, but try navigating to Administer CiviCRM > Global Settings > Address Settings.  On that page you can modify the mailing label format.

When I navigate to the Administer CiviCRM Page, there is no choice for "Global Settings" and therefore, no choice for Address Settings. Perhaps this is because of CSOD hosting?  Thanks though... Cynthia

Yes, you might want to convince CSOD to upgrade you to 1.7 :) In general we support and fix the latest release only primarily due to resource constraints
