Need Information about feature set of CiviCRM
November 03, 2008, 09:14:07 pm
Hi guys,

I'm evaluating Drupal to build a website for a non profit organization. Want to confirm that following are possible to achieve using Drupal:

  • Create a webpage for accepting donations (Can donations also be accepted from guests).
  • Create some web pages (that can be accessed by general public thru internet) that has information about the non profit - like what the do etc.
  • Create an online store for selling items (t-shirts, caps etc.).
  • Run online and email marketing campaigns.
  • Manage volunteers.
  • Post information about events.

Thanks,
Sharad.

IMO, most of things mentioned by you are possible using combination of CiviCRM and some other drupal modules.

Quote
* Create a webpage for accepting donations (Can donations also be accepted from guests).
You can use CiviContribute component of CiviCRM

* Create an online store for selling items (t-shirts, caps etc.).
You can use drupal modules for this.

You can use CiviMail and CiviEvent, CiviCRM components..
