Hi Community,

I'm developing a site with offers for volunteers. I'm using Drupal and CiviCRM.
I would like users could create two types of Drupal accounts: one for volunteers and one for organizations.
With CiviCRM profiles it's possible to add profile fields in a Drupal account creation, but it's possible to add different profile fields for different types of Drupal accounts?
Something like "sign-up for volunteers" with fields for volunteer profile, and "sign-up for organizations" with fields for organization profile.

This is not possible without code modifications. As of 2.1 we do not support linking a Drupal user account to a contact record of type 'Organization' (users are people - at least that's our assumption). However, the ability to signup for CiviMember membership "On Behalf of an Organization" which was added in 2.1 might fit your needs. When this feature is used, an individual and a related organization record are created and the individual has the ability to edit basic info about the related organization.

Anyway, I think it would be better to sign-up "on behalf of an organization" in profiles too, like normal users, without using Civimember.
