Registration for same performance on one of several days

We're doing a performance (Christmas Pagent) on several days.  Is there a way to make this one event where the person registering can select the performance they're registering for?  As an example, the performances are on Thu, Fri and Sat at 7pm.  I'm hoping to do this as a single event (registration) where the person selects the date they will attend.  Right now, I have 3 different events and that is a bit confusing.

You can potentially use price sets for this. However you will not be able to use the max registration count to cap the number of folks buying a ticket (without some custom code). You'll also need to run the custom price set search to get a listing of all folks that have registered for a certain day etc

IMO, with the current code having three different events is a better model

If controlling maximum registrations for each event isn't critical, you could also handle this by adding a custom field with Used For = Participants which is a radio button or drop-down select and include that in a profile on your Event Registration form.
