Apache Forbidden error when editing Event details
July 02, 2007, 08:01:44 am
I have Civicrm 1.7 and Drupal 5.1 with CiviEvent. I can create an event with no problems, the event works fine, but when I try to edit details after the event has been created, I get the following error when I attempt to save the changes:

Quote
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

This is coming straight-up from Apache, not Drupal or CiviCRM. Any clue?

Thanks!

Can u check your error logs and see if you get a more detailed error message

Also can u check the url that it goes to when it gives u the below error? i.e. what index.php is it trying to access? I suspect if you can create an event without any problems, it can access drupal's index.php fine. So there might be a url issue somewhere

It is trying to access the root Drupal index.php . The forbidden URL is

Quote
index.php?q=civicrm/admin/event/manageEvent&action=update&reset=1&id=1

Any ideas? THanks!

that url looks right, so u'll have to check your error logs to get more information. If you dont have access to them, you might want to ask your hosting provider for them
