Keeping the machine clean
November 06, 2008, 09:24:47 pm
I notice that lint is accumulating in my .../media/civicrm/upload directory. It appears that these are files are left over from Imports of contacts, activities, and contributions.

It's not a big issue, but I'd like to write a cron script to do regular housekeeping. Is there a list of places (like this directory) where stuff accumulates?

all civicrm created files are stored in media/civicrm (by default)

the directories: upload and templates_c contain files that can be safely discarded

the directories persist and custom contain files that are relevant and linked to from the database, so this should not be deleted
