Is it possible to BCC all email going out when you select to send emails to a select set of contacts

I am not clear what you are asking. As I understand, both civiMail and 'email contacts' (via More Actions) send individually addressed emails, so they do not list the other recipients, so why would BCC be helpful? But maybe I am completely missing your point.

I get asked for CC by my users, but I think it is the same issue..

 - To send the same email to lots of people at the same time you have to be able to select them all from one search - so they have to be in a group or belong to the same organisation, or have some commonality that allows you to get them listed and therefore selected - really what they want to do is add another recipient in the same way that you can add another contact to a meeting.

By the way - the motivation is probably quite different - they usually want to send cc (i.e. visibly copy in someone) so that the recipient knows that it is known that the email was sent... and other nefarious reasons!
