Internet Explorer Session Bug?
November 12, 2008, 11:35:13 am
For some reason, when in Internet Explorer, there's some web caching error I'm running into.  I've created a contribution or deleted a contribution, but whenever I go back to that user's page to see their contribution list, the data is still there as before I entered a transaction.  I confirmed it works right in Firefox.  Is there some sort of session handling that is going haywire?  Is there anything I can do about it?

(On a side note, I am currently running PHP 5.1.6 on the server although I hope to get that upgraded soon.  Could that be the problem?)

Thanks,

Dan

I haven't seen or heard about behavior like this. Might want to check your IE settings for caching parameters etc. You can also retrieve the list of contributions for a contact directly (i.e. not inside the ajax tab mechanism) by hitting the following URL:

civicrm/contact/view/contribution?reset=1&snippet=1&force=1&cid=N

... where N is the contact ID of a contact with contributions.
