contact sign up form issue on 1.9 install

Hi,

My 'quick sign up' form sometimes fails.

The main error : modules/civicrm/CRM/Profile/Form/Edit.php, fatal, 89

Upon doing a bit of backtrace troubleshooting, it looks like the issue is that it's not loading the profile id from the URL in  function preProcess() (in my case, gid=5)

The strange part is that it only happens some times and is not related to a user being logged in or browser. If I try signing up 5 times with the same info, it works 2 times and fails thrice

Is this a 1.9 specific issue? I hope not

Hard to remember about v1.9. Can you replicate this on http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org? I would recommend upgrade to latest release.

the demo site is down and unless the demo site is on 1.9 I don't see the point. Upgrading is not an option at this time

Demo is on v2.1. It's bit hard for us to support older versions. So you will have to debug on your own :(
