How to test access rights ?

Hi,

I want to add a "create a new tag" form in the tag tab on a contact, but want to show it to the persons that have the access right. Didn't find what the the ACL I should test, nor how to test it.

I think you can write a simpletest for your purpose. Check tests/ folder for sample tests.

Actually, my bigger issue is to understand how the ACL works, I need to spend time on it, I don't think I understand the concept, and how the civicrm rights are mixed with the drupal ones...
