1 Year Membership - Paid Monthly

Does anyone know if it is possible to setup a 1 year membership which is paid monthly.  Some of our clients use this billing model.  Essentially they will have an active membership between Jan 1 and Dec 31 but will be paying the dues on a monthly basis.

I would assume we'd need to setup an annual membership and make monthly contributions tied to this membership.

Has anyone encountered anything like this?

I dont think we can do this automatically as of v1.8. To some extent this can be modelled as a recurring payment and/or a pledge system for memberships. You might have to do this manually and toggle the membership status of each member on a monthly basis based on payment recd etc
