Group Merging and Comparison

Hi everyone!

I am using CiviCRM 2.0.1 and I have the following problem:

I need to compare two groups and see if some contacts in one are also in the other. If that is the case, then I would like to form a new group which contains only the unique contacts in the two groups.

I looked in the forum and the website, but I could not find a way to do it.

Would somebody be able to help me out?

In CiviCRM v2.1 we have added Custom Search that might help,
