Hey everyone!

I am using CiviCRM 2.0.1. I was wondering if there was a way to set up a default tag to be automatically assigned to each newly created contact.

Thanks,

Stiliyan

You can  do this by implementing the civicrm_post hook on contact create. You will need some PHP and Drupal expertise to add this feature. If you dont have this expertise, you can hire someone from our services listing: http://civicrm.org/professional/

Hi,

You can also add a few lines of jquery and do that at the interface level. Not as bullet proof, but might be easier for you to implement.
