Custom Fields types and text areas (multi-line field input)

Hi,

I'm a new Civicrm user and I'm trying to setup profiles for our user base. I'm working with the latest Civicrm and drupal 5.1

I'm adding custom fields and in one of them I want the person to list the various places that they have worked in the past. A multi-line textbox is best suited for this. However, I don't see an option for that. Does Civicrm support multi-line textboxes (text area fields) for custom data input?

yes, a field of type note is rendered as a textbox. U get to choose the number of rows and columns. its maps to a 'text' field in mysql
