Google Checkout
July 07, 2007, 04:27:24 am
The following error is generated in sandbox (test) checkout.
Please correct the following errors in the form fields below:
    * CIVICRM_CONTRIBUTE_PAYMENT_KEY is not set in the config file.

Google checkout is enabled and running CiviCRM 1.7.

In the global payment setting Google checkout is set and  parameters are assigned to the relevant values.
In the civicrm.settings.php file 'CIVICRM_CONTRIBUTE_PAYMENT_TEST_KEY'  is also set to Google merchant key.

Can u reproduce the error on http://sandbox.civicrm.org/ We have migrated all payment processor preferences to the database and hence is set via civicrm admin interface. If you can please file an issue on our issue tracker detailing steps needed to reproduce the issue

thanx

The error message is created before a call to sandbox.google.com right in the first stage of contribution transaction. That is after filling in the form contribution amount, email address and personal information and hitting the continue button.

I will immediately report this in issue tracker. But I am not sure to which category I have to enter it as I do not see any related once.

sandbox.civicrm.org works fine. As you mentioned some features changed. In my case I have to enter manually the CIVICRM_CONTRIBUTE_PAYMENT_KEY in the settings.civicrm.php.

I downloaded civicrm 1.7 not more than a month ago. How is it to get a distribution with features same as the civicrm.sandbox?

The version on sandbox is v1.8 alpha. We are fixing all bugs and issues in the 1.8 release only. (unless its a critical or security issue bug). You can download the alpha release from the download site. (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=177914) Note that as an alpha release it will have a fair number of bugs and issues still pending. So use with caution
