Any way to bulk edit "Communication Preferences?"

I want to set the "Do Not Email" privacy setting for a group of contacts.

I've looked at the "Batch Update via Profile" option under "-more actions-" and even the options available when importing, both to no avail.

Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

(I'm using 1.9, but am also interested if it is possible in 2.x)

I dont have a 1.9 sandbox available, but in 2.1 you can definitely do this via batch update to profile (i just tested it in 2.2 and it worked fine)

Presumably you could also just export the Contact ID and COmms preference of your Group members - then reimport with the required update. Probably quicker than Batch Update if you have a large number to deal with.

Thanks! I don't know how I missed that when I looked at the import options previously. (And hopefully we'll be updated to the current version of CCRM soon.)
