Upcoming Events Block
December 05, 2008, 07:44:17 am
I was trying to create a block to show upcoming events by flowing this post in the wiki http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/List+of+Upcoming+CiviEvents+or+Feed+of+Events

When I went to the  admin>settings>filters it came up as input formats and the only available input formats were filtered html and full html. How do I go about allowing php in my blocks?

Quick Google search brings up this page:

http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/php

If this helps you, consider adding a "tip" to the wiki for others who might have the same situation.

I want to place PHP inside a block however when I select input types there is not a php filter to select there. I am logged in as the administrator which I thought be default had all privileges.

Greg - I'm not an expert on Drupal filters - but the link above seems to indicate that you need to enable an additional module in order to see the PHP filter option for content.

Yeah, that was it. There is a php filter module that needed to be enabled. Thanks.
