Send E-mail in CiviEvent to Participants gives Upload Error
December 07, 2008, 09:17:13 pm
In CiviCRM when sending an e-mail to participants of an event, we get an error about uploads, even though we are not attaching an upload to the e-mail.  Sending e-mail via CiviMail and through Joomla seems to work just fine.  We only get this error when sending from CiviEvent to all the participants from an event.

this is a known issue (http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-3866) and will be fixed in 2.1.3 (to be released in the 3rd week of december)

Thanks.  I found a workaround until then.  In Miscellaneous Settings in Global Options, you can set the number of attachments to zero (0) and then when you try to mail again, it works without an error.
