Can not access events page
December 18, 2008, 09:45:53 pm
I have Civi 2.0.2 running and I am now unable to get to the Events main page in Civi. I have found this post ( http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php?topic=2424.0) regarding a similar topic and I increased my run time from 30 seconds in my php.ini to 90 I now get a 500 Internal Server error. I am not sure if this happened right after the 2.0.2 upgrade because I don’t think I went to that page in the testing and my client waited 2 weeks to tell me there was a problem and does not remember if it started before the upgrade.

There are 30 events in the database and about 1,000 records associated with those events.

We are running in a shred server environment so the problem could be with the hosting but any help in resolving this issue is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

1. i vaguely remember that we had a bad query bug in the event listing which was responsible for the long delay. Can you upgrade to 2.0.7. It is a code only upgrade so should be easier (though do backup the old site and dbs etc)

2. if the above does not work, can you get more information from the error log about the 500 errror

3. can u disable some of the events and see if it improves performace

thanx
