Drupal-6.8 & CiviCRM-2.1.4
December 20, 2008, 04:38:32 pm
Starting a new site using Drupal-6.8 and CiviCRM-2.1.4, but when I try to run the installer I get the "Oops! Incorrect Drupal version".  I did verify that I am using the drupal version (civicrm-2.1.4-drupal.tar.gz).

Should I go back to an earlier version of drupal?

Thanks for your help,
Patrick

You might want to check and verify both your drupal and civicrm versions. Most likely you have made an error in one of those versions

if you are sure they are right, can u add a debug statement here:

install/index.php, line 140

and see what VERSION we are getting

thanx

Hi Lobo,
I double,triple checked the files I downloaded... civicrm-2.1.4-drupal.tar.gz & drupal-6.8.tar.gz

I am not sure how to add the debug statement, but am willing if you can tell me what to add.

Thank you,
Patrick

If you are familiar with PHP and text editing, add

echo VERSION;

If you are not familiar with PHP, its probably not worth it.

Patrick,

I am having the very same problem, with the very same version!  My site is hosted at Hostek, on one of their Windows 2003 boxes.

I wonder if this is partly to blame?

Have you found a solution?

I found some "manual installation" instructions, but they are for version 2.0 under Drupal 5.  So, it would seem at least partly irrelevant.

I just did a test install of drupal-6.8 and civicrm-2.1.4 to ensure we dont have any major issues :) The install worked as expected :)
