warning and exception - running CivicRM on Bluehost.com

I had my earlier civicrm running - but now I uninstalled and installed the new one. After these messages I created the tmp directory and made it writable to the world (757). The problem, however, persists. What is the matter?

Warning: Error parsing /home/fukfyndk/public_html/joomla!/media/civicrm/upload/Config.IDS.ini on line 4 in /home/fukfyndk/public_html/joomla!/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/packages/IDS/Init.php on line 88

with that line commented out (disabled) it works. Otherwise I don't get anywhere. Do I need the line?

Then I just need to know what to do. I think that this directory has the right permissions. But I still have the error and I don't know why

Can you try giving writable permission to upload dir (/home/fukfyndk/public_html/joomla!/media/civicrm/upload) and check, since it might be a owner/user issue.

If it works remove the writable permission and make appropriate user (web-server default user) own the directory.

I am sorry. I don't get it. It only works if I disable the check in the Invoke.php file. So that's what I will stick with for now. Happy Christmas!

We're having the exact same problem. Directory does indeed have the right permissions.

We only clear the error if we comment out that line.

Did you try Deepak's suggestion from above?

Is it a shared host or a dedicated server?

It's a Drupal site running on a VPS. Other installs on this server are working fine. But installs where we've used the newest version are all giving this error.

We've verified that all the civicrm folders in the file directory have the right permission and are owned by the user.

Only commenting out that line gets the site working again.
