Available countries in Localization
December 22, 2008, 05:32:14 pm
I'm working with 2.1.x (not sure what x is, sorry) and am having a problem with the available countries. Specifically, United States always appears at the top of the list. All I want is an alphabetical list, but the United States seems to be hard coded to appear at the top of the list. I'm not too bothered but I know it will annoy a lot of people using the site I'm building.

Any suggestions for a workaround?

I'd also like to be able to customise the list so a select group of commonly-selected countries is listed at the top. This isn't essential, but I will do it if it's possible.....

Thanks

David

It seem you have set "Default Country" as United States in Localization.
You would like to change this default country to any other country that you want listed as first.

I am pretty sure all other countries are in alphabetical order.
