Question about Price Sets
January 05, 2009, 06:40:10 am
In CiviCRM 2.0.5, it appears to me that when a registration is created, only the option text is stored, not the option label.

Thus if I have a price set with two different labels (different controls) yet each has the same option texts, I can't determine which control the user actually chose.

Is this correct?

yes.
Currently we can not differentiate which price set field user actually chose. If given price set contain more than one fields with same price options.
we need to reevaluate mapping of price set -> civicrm_participant.fee_level later in v2.x

thanks
