Using Birthdate when we only know the year

Hi - seems that if one only knows the year of birth the system shows it as 1 Jan XXXX - are there any settings I can use so I can avoid it filling in the day / month when we don't know it?

I dont think so. we'll need to do some research into mysql and figure out how to store dates like these (year without month/day)

Thanks Lobo. With the Greens we just used a Custom Data field but seems clumbsy when we have DoB so would be a good tweak I think.
