Our charity wants a Client management System. This is where clients communicate with carers and the carer records the details and a log build up for the case history. Is this what CiviCRM can do? Has anyone used it in a charity context giving support services to older people> Advice appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
CiviCase might do the job for you but it has not been officially released yet. If you would like more information, please look here:  http://civicrm.org/taxonomy/term/16 and here: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRM/CiviCase+-+Project+Home

Also, there is a special forum devoted to CiviCase. If you have additional questions, here's the place to post: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/board,33.0.html.

Hope this helps,
Cynthia
