Is there a NOT or NOR function? For example, I want to do a search to find out what records are not in a group. I know how to find them if they are "IN" but is there a "NOT IN"? I have a lot of records in one group that I want to add to another. There are too many to add them all at once, and too many to BATCH add at 100 a pop. But there are very few that I need to add, I just don't know which ones they are.

2.1 has a custom search include/exclude groups. You can use that custom search to solve your use case

There might have been a few issues with it in earlier 2.1.x releases, so might want to upgrade to 2.1.4
