APO/FPO addresses

This is not exactly a CiviMail query but I am hoping someone can help me solve this problem.

We need to translate an APO/FPO ZIPcode to a country name. I have been unable to locate a table on the 'net that would help me with it and even if I could find a web service, our volume might be too high to use it. Has anyone ever had to develop such a table or know where one is?
