Is there a feature to print selected contact addresses on Envelopes?

There is a feature in CiviCrm to Print the Labels. Is there a feature to print selected contact addresses on Envelopes? If not, is there a workaround or simple custom code?

One approach (perhaps obvious) is to use Export from search to create a CSV file and then use that file for a mail merge print job in your word processor.
