I'm running Joomla 1.0.15 and CiviCRM 1.18 (or x.18) with php4.4.

I use the core of CiviCRM but I also use CiviContribute and CiviEvent.

Problem is: "Notify when profile form is submitted" is not working at all for me. We have folks submit stuff multiple times a day and I've never gotten this feature to work.

I know the email address works....and I can send email to folks through the Send Email to Group feature...so I know emails are going out. And I can even email a single individual through the Send an Email feature in their record.

Why in the heck can't I get the email notification thinge to work? Please note: I'm not a developer in the true, geeky sense of the word. In other words, if you tell me to go extend the code...I'll have no idea what to do. So be kind.

i assume u r using v1.8. Unfortunately that version is quite old and no longer supported. As such we have absolutely no idea why the below is not working for you

We do recommend an upgrade. However, if you cannot upgrade, you might want to hire someone from our professional services listing: http://civicrm.org/professional/ to check and potentially fix
