Hello:

    Is it possible to have recurring payments (as in regular contribution pages) for "Submit Credit Card Contribution" (this is
the page which is obtained when a user clicks on the Contributions tab and clicks on the link for Submit Credit Card Contribution
for that contact.

   I searched around a bit but could not locate anything relevant.

Paypal Web payments Pro has released an API for recurring payments. You can potentially code to that and build support for that within CiviCRM. I suspect we'll need to tweak a few things to make that work. Alternatively you can sponsor development of this by the core team. I suspect its a 40-50 hour project
