Upgrade.php not found!
January 13, 2009, 04:03:01 am
I'm upgrading a development site using a copy of live data from 2.1 to 2.2 alpha....

I'm following the link to upgrade Drupal sites:

* Point your web browser to the following URL (you should already be logged in to Drupal with administrator-level permissions):

http://<your_drupal_home>/civicrm/upgrade.php?reset=1

and I receive a 404 error - and I can't find the upgrade.php file anywhere.

I'm recovering from flu and feeling particularly dumb today, please be gentle!

Hey,

Please try this:

http://<your_drupal_home>/civicrm/upgrade?reset=1 (without .php)

Thx,
m

Thanks guys.

I think this is the correct URL:

http://<your url>/?q=civicrm/upgrade&reset=1

Hey,

It depends whether you have clean URL support turned on or not.

Clean URLs turned OFF:
http://<your_drupal_home>/civicrm/upgrade?reset=1

Clean URLs turned ON:
http://<your_drupal_home>/?q=civicrm/upgrade&reset=1

(and it's specific for Drupal BTW)

Thx,
m

I'm able to install from SVN no problem. Lots of nice reasons to upgrade to 2.2

I also need to test the "official" upgrade process, but when I get to this step, <drupal site>/civicrm/upgrade&reset=1, I'm getting a page not found error.

Any thoughts?

Thank you,
pogo

Yes, I do have clean URL's but I tried both just for fun... got the same page not found. I don't seem to have any other path problems.

Thank you,

Pogo

FYI, I had disabled the CiviCRM module in Drupal prior to the upgrade. Once I enabled the CiviCRM module then the <drupal site> civicrm/upgrade?reset=1 worked perfectly.

Thanks,

pogo

For upgrading CiviCRM, CiviCRM module has to be enabled.
