I learned belatedly that the synch goes from drupal to civicrm and adds records to civicrm but not users to drupal. Nwo I need to added drupal users (we have a lot of supporters who have never created a user on our site).

I want to make sure I don't send them a welcome email everytime I add someone. Can I do this safely using the drupal admin user management tools? and after I add drupal users and synch them with civicrm, do they remain synched? ie - if someone logs into the site as a user and updates their email that will be reflected in the drupal user and the civicrm record?
