error Importing Contacts in Joomla CMS
January 19, 2009, 03:07:26 pm
Hi there,
I would appreciate if anyone could point me to solution. I get the error "Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Services_JSON "
while importing the csv contacts in csv format.
I understand vaguely that there are other components using the same JSON file in Joomla.
So after playing around with it for a while I noticed it works when I comment the JSON line in parsor.php coz then civicrm uses the default JSON of Joomla. I am not sure commenting the JSON line in parsor.php have any -ve effect on other functions of civiCRM. However this does not seems to be very viable solution in a long run.

There are quite few issues specially for Joomla as I have noticed, hope to see them resolved. Thanks for the lovely CRM. Its very useful for non-profits and volunteer type organization.

Also is any calendar module available in Joomla which can be used for events in civiCRM?

THanks,
Simon

This is used for showing progress bar and progress bar is disabled in Joomla, so i don't think it will have any negative impact.
