CiviMember and CiviGroup Roles Sync

A bit of confusion with these "modules" for Civi*Sync. The modules need to be enabled to be activated, but a warning "Not supported!" appears on the "Available updates" page for these 2 items. I just did a clean install of Drupal 6.9 and CiviCRM 2.1.4; the modules appear in sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/modules - should they NOT be there?

This modules are maintained by CiviCRM Core team, hence not available at drupal.org, hence it gives that warning.

I have fixed warning in v2.1 branch.

I am certainly confused.  I am using Drupal 6.9 and CiviCRM 2.1.4.  The Civi* Roles Sync are located in ~sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/modules.  The modules work as expected but I am still getting the Not Supported warning from Drupal.

Any ideas why this is still happening.

this will be fixed in v2.1.5 which will be out in the next week or so

CiviGroup Roles Sync

CiviGroup Roles Sync does not seem to work for me, I have the module enabled, under Site Configuration -> List association rules I have my drupal volunteer role = civicrm volunteer group, but when the role is enabled or disabled for a drupal user (I'm using the role control module so users can opt in and out) the changes in the role status are not reflected on the civicrm side...I tried the 'sync drupal users to contacts' but still no change in the groups settings

any suggestions would be appreciated

civicrm 2.1.4
drupal 6.9

The module currently only adds users to a group when they have a specific role. it does not delete users from the group. From the code comments:

TO DO: Remove User From Group when role is removed

If you are interested in the latter, a code patch to fix it would be great
