Test Participants in CiviEvent
January 23, 2009, 02:07:00 am
I performed a Test Drive of an event and then read the documentation.  IT says I need to create ficticious contacts so that I can delete them later.  Unfortunately I used real contacts and now cannot see how to remove them as test registrations from the event.

Test registration appear when displaying the public participant list and this seems to be inappropriate.

Maybe I just need to copy the event and then delete it.  However if there is another way could someone let me know.

Many thanks
Martin Fuggle

You can do Find Participants, search for Test Participants and then delete it using "Delete Participant" task action.

I can find the Test Participants and under 'more actions' there is no 'delete participants' action.  There is a delete contacts but I certainly don't want to do that.

Sorry for being dumb but am I looking in the right spot?

check:

http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/event/search?reset=1

1. click on "find test participants"

2. hit search, u'll find one record

3. select that record, the actions will show Delete Participants

I was searching for Test Participants using Advanced Search instead of using Find Participants.

Many thanks
