Bad iCal CiviEvent feed when derived from test installation
January 26, 2009, 09:58:39 am
This is related to issues on the following thread, but I'm narrowing things down somewhat...

Drupal/CiviEvent calendar thread: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,6292.0.html

Summary: iCal feed not parsing event URL properly on test installation

Details: I have my sandbox installation in subdirectory d6 of base directory http://xx.xxx.xx.xx:8888/ for a base site URL of http://xx.xxx.xx.xx:8888/d6/ - this should be a fairly common configuration.

iCal UID correctly shows the base address, ending in /d6/

Event URL begins with /d6/, which is wrong. The reconstructed full URL to the event will then be ttp://xx.xxx.xx.xx:8888/d6//d6/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=1 - which will not work.

Hope this helps!

Excellent! Good to see it wasn't me losing my mind (although that's always one of the likelier options...) thanks for looking into it!
