Civicrm / Civimal memory configuration (Drupal 5)
January 27, 2009, 11:15:25 am
Hi all,

I may be at the point of throwing in the towel and asking for professional help here. (Yes, my website is driving me insane).

I am running cohousing.org which is a drupal5.3/civicrm1.9 site, with about a 8k database of names and civimail, running on siteground's VPS service.

We are running into lots of memory problems around using civicrm, particularly civimail.  In december we were running to tlots of site slowness problems, and they moved us onto a new server.  That's mostly been great, but since then the memory problems have been huge, so i think SOMETHING is configured wrong, but i don't know what.

I'm look for someone who really knows this stuff to look at the memory settings and configuration and tell me where we have it wrong :)

I'm also open to getting the site upgraded to civicrm 2.x, but there's no dev site, just production, so that's a little scary of a prospect for me.

Can you tell I'm a little in over my head here? :)

Pointers and advice would be appreciated.
