Porting Joomla! database to Standalone

For trialing I am using Joomla! but my server platform is Ubuntu server. Can I port the Joomla! database to the equivalent Mysql on the server Standalove CiviCRM and expect it to run without further modification?

OK, thanks. At least I know it can be done. I have tried Drupal but the civi module won't install properly so I've got to go back to my Joomla trial version and that will have to be ported to Standalone as users cannot be given the Joomla backend to work in.
