Hello everyone,

my setup:
Joomla 1.5.9 with CiviCRM 2.1.4. on a XAMPP local server

My Problem:
The CiviCRM installation easy and backend works fine but I am not able to add a working CiviCRM menu to my frontpage. I add a menu by doing:

Menu --> Main Menu* ---> New ---> [Selecting CiviCRM from tree menu]

Then I select for instance on the right-hand side in the Parameter(Basic) form the Choose CiviCRM task the itenm 'Profile Create'.

Joomla adds the menu point to the main menu, but when i click on it this message is returned

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.

The requested Profile (gid=) is disabled, OR there is no Profile with that ID, OR a valid 'gid=' integer value is missing from the URL. Contact the site administrator if you need assistance.

Return to home page.
the same is with 'Event info page' menu though I have created a event in the backend this page returns:

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.

Could not find valid value for id

Return to home page.
the url is the following one

index.php?option=com_civicrm&Itemid=78
This problem applies for any CiviCRM menus I would like to add to the frontpage. I got the suspicion that I have overlooked something, though I could not find any help so far. Does anyone know I did wrong or what i have to do to make the menu working? Plz direct me to another post if I have not found that one.Thank you for all your responses.
