Problem with Dedupe

Hi There,

I have a copy of CiviCRM Standalone 2.2. I have different custom profiles that collect different information. They are both available to public to fill out and submit and both collect the Email. I have set my Dupe rules, both fuzzy and strict to Email only. I have also checked the box under Profile Settings>Advance to update users on a duplicate.

When people submit the different profiles, it creates a user for each. They both have the same email address but they don't get combined.

Your help is appreciated.

Can you try to replicate it on http://standalone.demo.civicrm.org/  or http://sandbox.civicrm.org
