Parse Error

I just did a beta 2.2 install from  directory and got this:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in C:\xampp\htdocs\jan14\administrator\components\com_civicrm\civicrm.settings.php on line 109

WHich is odd because line 109 is a comment.
