Greetings - We have different projects that our community would like to be able to "earmark" their donations toward - building fund, general fund, emergency medical services fund, etc. - I have searched here and have not found out how I can give them the choice to earmark their donation if they have a preference - the only thing I was thinking is to make a contribution page for each project fund and link it to the title of the intro text about that project -- I'm certain that I'm missing something, would someone be kind enough to set me straight?

Thanks Lobo - I got to the custom fields and multiple choices but being the newbie that I am to this wonderful, feature rich tool didn't get to the part of having it visible - - I greatly appreciate you and those like you that take of your time to assist, a very valuable and professional service you provide.  Got it working in 2 minutes - thanks again!

Having just discovered CiviCRM I am amazed at the power it has - am currently deploying CiviContribute on a Joomla 1.5.9 site for our non-profit and plan to incorporate it completely in 2 upcoming non-profits. 

An off topic question - with regards to my existing site, I am very reluctant to do the recommended database conversion recommended and convert/include my currently registered users, but in a vanilla install where I will be incorporating all the features of CiviCRM, will it be critical to do?  Or if I use CiviCRM as the registering form will it still be necessary?  Hope that makes sense and since it's off topic here don't bother to respond if it's out of line.  Of course, I'll need to research this but thought to ask as I'm really excited with this new wonder! 

Much appreciation once more - this is certainly one of those projects that I will enjoy supporting and sharing.
