Not show information stored in custom data fields in CiviEvent for CiviCRM 2.2beta!!   


I used: Drupal 6.6, CiviCRM 2.1
One day i made a decision to upgrade to  CiviCRM 2.2beta because
1) i wanted  more Event permissions detalisation for my project
2) i had an error with "+" ajax based drop down in events custom fields information - in firefox (but not in opera)

I used upgrade instructions from http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMUPCOMING/Upgrade+Drupal+Sites+to+2.2
Upgrade was successful.

Then i tried to edit some information in custom fields for my type of events:
1) go to   » Event Information and Settings  page
And here i saw nothing in my custom fields!!!. Empty fields!
When i added info to the required fields and to my custom fields  (their types was text  and textarea)   and press "save" button  - nothing saved!   I tried several times: input information in russian  and english, but no progress.
Then i checked MySQL via PHPMyadmin  - i see all information in db  (obviously it cannot disappear)

I think it's critical bug, and i created bug report.


I tries to instal clean drupal 6.9 latest and civiCRM 2.2beta - created custom data fields  - BUY get the same problem
in edit screen of event information is not shows - but it shows in public view in frontend....   very strange

please report if this problem will be solved...

Nowdays i want to downgrade to 2.1  BUT when i enter backup of db and files   a have many errors like:  not show some pages of drupal admin interface, not show event management screen   ...  and so on   

can you reproduce this problem on sandbox (http://sandbox.civicrm.org/) and if so please file an issue on the issue tracker

here i am trying to reproduce:

1) my custom group joomler_civicrmforum  used for event type Conference http://sandbox.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/custom/group/field?reset=1&action=browse&gid=11

2) my event http://sandbox.civicrm.org/civicrm/event/manage?reset=1&action=update&id=16&subPage=EventInfo


Very strange!!  on your test sanbox all works perfect!  a see all stored text when try to edit.  But why i dont see it on my localhost?
Have you an idea?

can you also try running

truncate civicrm_cache;
truncate civicrm_acl_cache;

in either PHPMyAdmin or mysql shell. let us know if that fixes the issue
