missing in 2.2 beta alpha (on Joomla 1.5.9)

Hello!

I have installed 2.2 beta alpha release with breeze..but i came across certain problems while using event component and custom profiles.........following are the issues.


First Issue : (in event component)
I have set up customized Profiles and try to include them in event setup, but I cant see the customized profiles in the select option in event setup. What could be the reason?

Second Issue:: ( in custom profiles)
How come i can disable some countries but not the default states?


Kindly respond..........I am i missing anything?

It would be good if you provide detail about which fields you have added in profile. Note that only Participant and Individual profile types are supported.

I think you can configure it from :  Administer CiviCRM -> Global Settings -> Localization
