Hi,

I am having a little trouble getting my head around price sets. I need to enable someone to enter any value including $0 as a donation to attend an event. Reason I need $0 is that they can donate at the event instead of at the time of registration.

I created a Price Set with a text / numeric field with a price value of 1


When I register and enter a value of 0 it returns me asking me to "Select at least one option from Event Fee(s)"

Is it possible to have 0?

I also thought to have the pay later option... but this still requires an amount to be put in as far as I can tell.

So you can include a $0 item (donate at the event)  in your list of event fees (i.e. without using a price set).

Hmm - the price set option is the only way to have a "free form" amount AND collect funds online at registration time. So I think you'd have to hack the code to allow an entry of $0 if you need that first part.
