The requested Profile (gid=2) is disabled... error trying to let anon user test
February 16, 2009, 12:58:05 pm
The requested Profile (gid=2) is disabled, OR it is not configured to be used for 'Profile' listings in its Settings, or there is no Profile with that ID. Contact the site administrator if you need assistance.

I am trying to test an event registration process. I'm getting the above error. I'm trying it logged out as when I'm logged in, it knows all my information and I want to test this as a complete stranger will see it.

There are profile fields. I'm not sure if this is an issue with user profile fields settings.
I have nothing chosen for:
"used for" in the settings.
These are just event participants.
Any advice?

Thanks,
Adam

hi nimzie

As peterd said, make sure you have "profile listings and forms" permission to anonymous user.
for checking log in as drupal administrator go to  Administer -> User management -> Permissions.

Thanks for your help folks, I think I"m really close. This error got me past the first hurdle.

Now, the profile fields aren't showing the anon users. They don't get the errors.

When I'm logged in, the reg form shows the profile fields.

I made the custom data fields as : Used For Participants Attendee

Then in the profile fields, I make them and map them to the custom data fields.

As I said, these profile fields are showing for logged in users, but not for anon.

Thanks again for any help.

Cheers,

Adam

As I said, these profile fields are showing for logged in users, but not for anon.

to show custom field in profile for anonymous user,  you also need to give access all custom data permission for anonymous user in Permission Section
