Dates prior to 2009
February 16, 2009, 05:12:54 pm
I imported a lot of records that have dates in the  past such as birthdates, and member since...

When I edit a record or try to fill in a date the earliest drop down date is 2009.  Ho can I change the select list.  I'm sure it is an easy fix and I've looked but can't find it.

hi

You need to change date settings for corresponding date classes.
We used 'birth'  date class for  birthdates and  'activityDate' for member since.

To change settings for date classes go to :
Administer CiviCRM > Global Settings > Date Formats > Advanced Date Input Settings
here you can change "Start Offset" and "End Offset" for these two date classes which will reflect on form.

eg.
for birthdates,  'birth'  date class setting would be "Start Offset" = 100 and "End Offset" = 0
